Ellie was an exceedingly kind, caring and vivacious young lady. We her parents had a fantastic relationship with her, as did her older brother and her cousins, to whom she was also remarkably close.
Ellie was fun and a joy to be around, but also very caring - and this shone through in her love for her grandparents.
Ellie was immensely popular, with a wide group of friends. She hated it if anyone felt upset or excluded, and was often described as the glue that held everyone together.
From an early age Ellie had a huge love for animals, and we would visit farms to hold chicks and rabbits and to feed the baby animals. Her passion then moved onto horses, and she would often spend the summer months just herself and her beloved pony Blackjack hacking over Wiltshire’s beautiful countryside.
Ellie was very much a perfectionist and put everything into anything she did, whether it was her schoolwork or equine competitions.
She had a wonderful life mapped out which was brutally taken away from her and us.
