Bethany Rae Fields

Bethany was my world, my only beloved precious child, as gentle as she was beautiful. My daughter, my best friend and my rock. Forever my bright, radiant ray of light. I lived and breathed for Bethany. I adored her! I feel so truly proud and blessed to be her mother (mum).

Bethany was a thoughtful, generous, genuine young woman who radiated goodness and warmth, a pure loving soul who loved unconditionally and without malice. I miss her to the very core of my soul every day, as do her father and all who loved her. The light has gone from our world. I now live in a cold, dark, empty world. A void like a huge black hole. Loving lives forever stolen from each other through senseless evil.

From a young age, Bethany was a little peacemaker, jovial, funny, fun-loving, with a love of animals and nature. Bethany had budgies and rabbits as pets as a young child. Her love of rabbits remained throughout her short life, as did her love of art and music. Through her love of music and her desire to help disadvantaged people, it was while setting up for a musical charity event in Huddersfield that a monster took her life.

Bethany was studying Environmental Geography at York University. Her aspiration was to help all through climate change. Her intellect, her passion, her love of humanity and the planet as well as her dedication leave me - and all who truly knew her - in no doubt of her success.

My brave, altruistic and empathic daughter was one in a million to me. Quirky, original, humorous, gifted, yet humble and kind. A giver, not a taker, with the sweetest smile, her inner beauty shone from her face.

Why... just why... with so much to give, so much life still to experience. 💔
